Fundraising
The Coffee Bean House and all the wonderful staff have donated $1 from each coffee sold and created a “Pink Day” raffle for breast caner awareness. By the time that we arrived for work this morning, the staff had blown up 100 balloons and decorated the shop, ready to raise some money for a great cause that has touched all of our lives.
Competition
We gave away a gift basket full of pink ribbon supported products and a tea set to a lucky Toowoomba couple.
Money raised
Thanks to all the wonderful work by the staff, we managed to raise over $800 for breast cancer awareness. This was a good day had by all at a local Toowoomba Cafe. The Coffee Bean House is hoping to raise more awareness in the future by supporting more events like this including an ex staff member and a dear friend who is participating in the “Shave for a Cure” cause.
